Most of you know him as the motorcycle guru of Georgetown in the white shop coat. Through the work he does, the advice he gives and the things he has taught those around him, he has done many great things for motorcycles, scooters and even a few mopeds and the number of lives he’s touched is immeasurable. |

His love for motorcycles began in the 1950’s with the purchase of a Matchless single that he would eventually race in the Northwest’s Scrambles circuit. After working for Poke’s Cycle and Dewey’s Cycle for many years, he opened up MSI or Motorcycle Service Incorporated, on April Fools Day of 1973. |

He and his shop would become a mainstay in the Georgetown community for 36 years and his friendly demeanor and mechanical abilities have become legendary throughout the world. |

Here’s to his warm and welcoming whole-heartedness, cold beer in the “vault” and to all the times our bikes mysteriously wouldn’t start while parked in front of his shop (referred to by many, as the “vortex”). |
